About Our Commercial Automatic Door Inspection Services

The Dynamics of Door Assemblies Are Complex

Here’s an example. Swinging doors with builders’ hardware are the most common type of fire door assembly. They are complex due to the myriad of materials and products used to create them, and because they often provide accessibility, security and Life-Safety functions - in addition to their fire-safety protection. Licensed Inspectors are trained to understand the dynamics of door assemblies, and to correctly evaluate them in your building. We are proud to have one of nine Intertek/Warnock Hersey² inspectors licensed in Ohio on our staff - William O. Jordan, FDAI (Fire Door Assembly Inspector).

² This is a Canadian testing/certification agency (similar to Underwriters Laboratories in the U.S.) a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) recognized by OSHA.
